The Best DPS Classes for Sepulcher of the First Ones
1. Fury Warrior (S-Tier)
We start our Sepulcher of the First Ones best DPS Tier list with Fury Warrior, who topped our list thanks to the buffs they received. Despite being a melee spec, Fury Warriors are one of, if not the single, most powerful single-target damage dealers in the game right now, while also providing some of the best support and utility to any raid group.
The combo and synergy of their Covenant abilities, Necrolord, and Rallying Cry abilities make Fury Warriors an indispensable pick. Rallying Cry is currently considered the best defensive spell in raid, enough to put them in number one.
It is also worth mentioning that they are quite durable and powerful in raids. They currently have the strongest AoE damage in the game and that’s enough for them to dominate the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid. Fury Warrior is a class that has very few downsides and you definitely want to have in your raid.
2. Fire Mage (S-Tier)
Next up is a class that always shows up in the meta and is included in tier lists: Fire Mages. We are sure that you are not surprised to see this class, which has maintained its strong position in the game for a long time, on the list. Of course, Fire Mages provide the most burst damage you can see in Sepulcher of the First Ones Mythic raid. Burst damage in both AoE and single-target allows them to take the raid under their control.
We can say that they are highly preferable thanks to their versatility and mobility. Fire is a fantastic progression spec, and when its damage is competitive, it becomes a very appealing pick. For patch 9.2, the Mages are pretty impressive and promising. Especially Fire Mage is an indispensable choice for Sepulcher of the First Ones. If you’re a Fire Mage who can play very coordinated and focused, then you are in a very strong place for the new raid.
3. Demonology Warlock (A-Tier)
In third place is the Demonology Warlock, who can inflict extraordinary damage and inflict top-tier single-target damage during even the toughest encounters. Thanks to their 1 minute burst damage, they do great work in this raid. Also, thanks to the Demonic Consumption, their durability is quite high as they have a very large Health.
Demonology is the single most durable DPS class in the game, even without looking at their damage, thanks to a combination of one of the finest defensive toolkits and a 20% DR passive that makes them extremely durable. Due to a few downsides, they are in the A Tier, not the S.
4. Subtlety Rogue (A-Tier)
As you know, Subtlety Rogues weren’t that strong compared to other Rogue specs in previous patches. But thanks to the critical buffs from the last patch, they were able to stand out and seize their dominance. Rogues, an ideal role that can do the highest damage as a single-target, also show their presence in this raid. Especially thanks to their mobility (Feint and Cloak of Shadows), they are frequently preferred.
5. Enhancement Shaman (A-Tier)
In comparison to other DPS specializations, Enhancement Shaman has one of the more comprehensive toolkits and has arguably received the most positive reviews over the longest length of time. Enhancement offers among the greatest single-target sustained damage, competitive cleave, and decent utility.
