If you have $65 to spare for a single-day pass to attend PAX Australia this upcoming November between November 4th and November 6th, you will be in for a treat consisting of lots of exhibitors consisting of some of the biggest games currently released and those set to hit the market, including Call of Duty, Overwatch, FIFA, Dishonored and King of Fighters to name but a few.
The official schedule was released along with the exhibitor line-up, which can view over on the official PAX Australia website. They have a full three day time schedule for tournaments, tabletop games, exhibitions, live panel discussions, meet and greets and tons more.
They plan on hosting a Q&A session with the Penny Arcade and Penny Arcade Expo founders, Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins. Holkins mentioned in the press release…
“”This year’s PAX Aus is set to be the biggest yet, with a weekend that gives players hands-on access to this holiday’s slate of anticipated titles,” […] “Gaming is a global culture, and for the weekend of PAX Aus, its capital is Melbourne, Australia.”
During the Q&A someone needs to ask them how long it took the Dickwolves to digest their balls?
Anyway, there will even be a live performance by Tim Shiel and Luke Howard, along with special appearances by various popular YouTubers and streamers (and not just the cleavage catchers).
All of the three-day badges have sold out already because a lot of people really want to check out the expo. However, as mentioned at the top of the article you’ll be able to get a single day pass for $65. If you plan on doing anything more than attend for a day you’ll have to spend an extra $65 for another day’s worth of activities. I’m sure Holkins and Krahulik are cleaning up well in the ticket revenue department.
Anyway, you can learn more about the exhibitors, the events, the tournaments, the developers and, most importantly, the games by visiting the official PAX Australia website. It’s also good to see King of Fighters XIV still making the rounds and getting some eyeballs on the product. SNK needs all the hype they can get to keep the revitalized brand alive.
