The Game Awards 2018 Set To Kick-Off On December 6th

The annual award show dedicated to video games will turn up late this year as announced via Twitter. That’s right The Game Awards 2018 will make an appearance on December 6th according to Geoff Keighley.

On June 6th, Keighley, took to social media to announce this year’s Game Awards and when it will debut. Of course, the usual blunders and meme moments like Josef Fares speech are more than likely to appear at the event.

On a serious note, though, the tweet Keighley released explains that this year’s Game Awards will be the biggest one yet. Additionally, planning is going on as we speak as noted below:

“Our team is deep into planning the 2018 show, which will will be our biggest production yet. I can’t wait to share more later this year!”

Furthermore, The Game Awards will be held in Los Angeles, California, at the Microsoft Theater, and will kick-off starting at 5:30 P.M. PT / 8:30 P.M. ET.

If you want to attend the event, you know when and where to go unless you want to watch it go down online. As per usual, the team behind the gaming event will stream it across all major platforms for your viewing pleasure:

“The Game Awards will be available to livestream for free across all major digital, gaming and social platforms around the world.”

The thing is, we won’t be seeing the event unfold any time soon given that it’s seven months out. In the meantime, we will likely receive updates from Keighley via social media on things to come and what we can expect The game Awards 2018 to hold.

Things worth noting before concluding, tickets will go on sale on June 8th at AXS.com, and thegameawards.com holds more details on the event.

Finally, how cringe, meme-worthy, or disgraceful do you think this year’s Game Awards will be when it turns up early December?
