DOOM: Eternal Will Appear At QuakeCon 2018 On August 10th At 11:00 A.M. CT

Way back when Bethesda revealed Doom: Eternal at E3 2018 and said that it would have a presence and gameplay showing at QuakeCon 2018, we knew that the game would appear on August 10th. However, Bethesda recently tweeted that Doom: Eternal gameplay footage will appear at 11:00 A.M. CT on August 10th, 2018.

Sure, Doom: Eternal won’t launch until 2019, but it doesn’t mean we can’t see early footage of pure carnage and demon slaying next month. If you want to know exactly when Doom: Eternal’s gameplay showing will start, make sure to mark your calendar for August 10th, and set your clock(s) for 11:00 A.M. CT:

As seen in the above tweet by Bethesda, Rage 2 and Fallout 76 will join the second edition of “rip and tear” at QuakeCon 2018.

Taking a look over to QuakeCon 2018, this year’s event features an expanded schedule, including the return of the Keynote Address and official Bethesda panels.

In addition to the above, the BYOC area is promised to be twice as large as the area in 2017. And, for the first time ever, the exhibit hall will be open all day August 10th through August 12th.

The August 10th opening will feature the 11:00 A.M. CT keynote that dives straight into “the bone-shaking gameplay reveal” of DOOM: Eternal, where Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin — from id Software — will further detail the game.

Folks who attend will be able to catch the whole gameplay live at the event. Fans who are less fortunate and can’t make it will be able to watch the keynote live online via twitch.tv.

Personally, I’m really excited to see more of what was teased of DOOM: Eternal at E3 2018 at QuakeCon 2018. DOOM (2016) may have had a weak multiplayer scene, having played it myself, but the campaign was not only solid the gunplay was better than expected. I do hope the second game brings more hellish fun and then some, but it looks like we’ll have to wait and see how things turn out come August 10th.
