If you game on the Xbox One, Xbox One S, or the Xbox One X, do know that Microsoft will have you covered with a few surprises and 25 games come Gamescom 2018. Microsoft will pitch a booth in Hall 8 of the Koelnmesse (North entrance) at the games event from August 21st to August 25th.
Microsoft and the Xbox crew will make their European appearance to bring you the Xbox Official Gear Shop in the Gamescom fan shop arena, multiple games, and surprises on the following days:
- August 21st – 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. CEST (press/trade only day)
- August 22nd – 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. CEST
- August 23rd – 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. CEST
- August 24th – 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. CEST
- August 25th – 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. CEST

Inside Xbox
Firstly, at Gamescom 2018, the Xbox crew will host a special episode of Inside Xbox live from their Xbox booth in the Koelnmesse. You can stay up to date on all things Xbox by tuning in on Tuesday, August 21st, at 4:30 P.M. CEST / 7:30 A.M. PDT for exclusive news, new Xbox One bundles, accessories, features on upcoming titles and a “few surprises.”
Xbox FanFest
The return of Xbox FanFest will debut at Gamescom 2018, where the event will kick-off during the night of August 23rd. The team will reveal info on tickets and activities soon.
Xbox Booth
The Xbox booth will feature 25 playable games in Hall 8 of the Koelnmesse stationed at the North entrance. Also, Forza Horizon 4, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and State of Decay 2’s Daybreak Pack (an all-new game mode set to release in September) will be there.
In addition to the above, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds new mode for Xbox One will be playable for the first time at Gamescom at the Xbox booth.
Mixer Booth
Mixer (Microsoft’s live streaming service) will also be at Gamescom, located right near the Xbox booth in Hall 8. This booth will bring back the “HypeZone LIVE” experience. In other words, if you’re into that stuff, you know where to go.
Xbox Official Gear Shop
If you are into apparel and wearables, the Xbox crew has partnered with Game Legends to bring the Xbox Official Gear Shop in the Gamescom fan shop arena. Stuff ranging from Halo, PUBG, and Gears of War will be there. More information on this move will be announced over the coming weeks.
