Let’s Talk 2018 Laptops: Asus Zenbook Pro 14 And Pro 15

For the next upcoming months expect to see different electronic brands releasing their new 2018 products, especially with the new smartphones and laptops. As these new products debut, be on the look-out for back to school specials and holiday deals to be introduced as well.

The company Asus recently announced in June two of its new laptops from the Next Generation Zenbook Pro Series line, one is the new ultra-portable compact 14-inch laptop and the other is the new sleek lightweight 15-inch laptop, both of which are available right now.

The 15-inch Zenbook Pro is by far the more advance of the two, its key features includes a Fingerprint sensor, screenpad touchpad with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display LED-backlit 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution, with a configurable toolbar and app launcher, a PANTONE validated touchscreen display with support for ASUS pen and Adobe color gamut, with Windows 10 Pro operating system.

Laptopmag reported that Asus rated the Zenbook Pro 15 battery life at 9 hours, which is a 71Wh 8-cell lithium-polymer battery, and that the Harman Kardon brand speakers are 1.4x louder that last year’s model.

The processor is Intel Core i9-8950HK, with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, 8GB/ 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 memory, and 2 – USB -C 3.1 Gen 2 (Thunderbolt), 2- USB – A 3.1 Gen 2, 1- HDMI, 1- Combo audio jack, 1- Micro SD card reader. 3.5mm headphone jack, and VGA webcam, Bluetooth 5.0. The 15-inch Zenbook Pro comes in the color Deep Dive Blue and will retail for $ 1,799.99.

The 14-inch Zenbook Pro key features includes IR camera, FHD touch screen, with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, IPS display, a 8th generation Intel Kaby Lake Core i7-7500U CPU, Nvidia GeForce 1050 Max-Q, with up to 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 memory. It has USB 3.1 Gen 2 – C, with Thunderbolt 3 support. Another feature on the 14-inch is the Asus ErgoLift hinge, when the laptop is opened, the lid drops down below the back of the computer, this position angle will allow for more comfortable typing. Asus released the two laptops in July.
