CI Games, the devs behind the 2017 FPS Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 that garnered a mixed reception, will be at E3 2019. As of this writing, the publisher/developer has not posted up anything on its social media accounts about attending the big games event, but the official E3 page reveals otherwise.
Whether E3 is relevant to you are not, it seems as if the usual act of publishers and devs announcing their appearance is in full force. Back on March 7th, 2019, the official E3 page received an update showing Ci Games onboard.
It’s unclear what CI Games will announce at the gaming convention slated for this year’s June, but it is certain that the team is gearing up to do something either this year or 2020 due to CI Games’ careers page showing new positions such as Narrative Designer, Animator, and Community Manager.
In addition to the new job listings, CI Games announced back on January 21st, 2019, that its publishing branch United Labels will be over four indie titles as explained by Ci Games CEO Marek Tyminski:
“We are bringing our existing publishing capabilities to talented developers. We started this process with one of our own IPs, by giving the entire project of Lords of the Fallen 2 to Defiant in New York. We are now delighted to start United Label, announcing the first 4 highly-promising games: Röki from Polygon Treehouse, Eldest Souls from Fallen Flag Studios, Tails of Iron from Odd Bug Studios and Horae from Lunaris Iris. United Label will pursue its expansion by gathering creative talents, offering a structure to success and building long-term relationships with developers.”
Lastly, it’s also worth noting that Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts will be taking a new direction this year (2019), I’m not sure if the forthcoming title will be woke or not, but the upcoming PC, PS4, and Xbox One title will more than likely show up at this year’s E3 if this description holds any indication:
“The title takes its genre-defining sniping gameplay to the harsh climates of the Siberian wilderness and introduces a brand new way to play – the contracts system. The game features both single player and multiplayer modes, and is set to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2019.
All of this is coupled with a more optimized game engine, minimizing load times and maintaining a stable FPS, keeping players grounded in the rich, moment-to-moment sniping gameplay. Between the introduction of its Siberian setting, a return-to-form with an intense mission-based system, and sniping at its best, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is locked and loaded to impress genre and first-person fans alike.”
With that said, the reveal trailer for whatever Ci Games has planned will be the ultimate determiner for viewers curious as to what the company has in store. But until then, you can learn more about the publisher/developer and its portfolio by hitting up any of the above links.
