First and foremost, this is not an April Fool’s joke. Nintendo has officially announced that it will be joining the ever-growing list of participating companies this E3. Yes, this means that fans and gamers alike will be able to compete in new tournaments, witness brand new news, and see new games this June.
The E3 2019 appearance of Nintendo should come in as no surprise given that we covered the Big N’s announcement on the growing list of participating companies a month ago. However, the company will step up the info game sometime soon regarding tournament announcements, title reveals, and more.
According to e3.nintendo.com, folks will be able to battle to be the best, take on others in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate by taking part in the World Championship 2019 3-versus-3 match-up or take part in the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 tourney. I should note that all of this is set to take place on June 8th, 2019:

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3-versus-3 – Watch players smash their way to the top. Join the party as players from around the world battle in this international tournament.
Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 – Ink or be Inked! Get inked with some of the world’s top squid squads as they face off for the championship.
Moreover, the actual Nintendo E3 2019 event is slated to go live on June 11th and will end a couple of days later. In other words, the Big N’s expo will run for three days, as explained below:
