Although we did not report it here on OAG, rumors have been circulating around and about a new Nintendo Switch device that will appear at E3 2019. Well, it looks like that rumor has been dispelled by the Big N’s Company president Shuntaro Furukawa.
Publication site inverse.com reported that a lot of people seemingly want a cheaper and smaller version of the nifty Nintendo Switch and that it might happen at E3 2019. Contrary to that happening, Nintendo Company president Furukawa proved that the rumor was just a rumor in its recent earnings call (for the Fiscal Year 2019):
“As a general rule, we’re always working on new hardware and we will announce it when we are able to sell it, but we have no plans to announce that at this year’s E3 in June.”
In other words, don’t look for a new Nintendo console or handheld device to be announced during the company’s E3 presentation this year.
Something that you can look forward to this year from Nintendo is battling to be the best, taking on others in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate by participating in the World Championship 2019 3-versus-3 match-up or taking part in the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 tourney as announced on e3.nintendo.com. All of this will take place on June 8th, 2019:
Battle to be the best – Players from around the globe will face off in electrifying Nintendo game tournaments. Who will come out on top? Tune in on Saturday June 8 and find out!
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3-versus-3 – Watch players smash their way to the top. Join the party as players from around the world battle in this international tournament.

Moreover, the actual Nintendo E3 2019 event is slated to go live on June 11th and will end on June 13th, 2019. Sadly, though, nothing has been revealed as to what will be shown on the 11th and beyond:
