Death Stranding And Other Publisher Games To Be Shown Off At Gamescom 2019

Gamescom 2019 is nearing and will kick-off August 20th and end on August 24th, 2019. In an attempt to build up hype, Geoff Keighley took to Twitter to announce publishers across the games space will reveal new titles at this year’s German trade show, while Kojima Productions will reportedly show off more Death Stranding at said event.

Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions’ nebulas game Death Stranding is currently scheduled to hit PS4 this year on November 4th. In other words, the game that is three months out before releasing to the public will capitalize on Gamescom’s potential demographic reach.

It’s worth mentioning that the Open Night Live starts one day early where Death Stranding will make an early appearance at the trade show starting on August 19th according to Keighley:

Whether you’re excited to see Death Stranding or not, more than 15 publishers will take the stage at this games event to show off new and never before seen content. I’m not sure what these “new premieres” and “announcements” are, but they’ll be live during the third week of this month.

The second tweet Keighley has up shows 2K, Activision, Bandai Namco, Bungie, Capcom, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Google Stadia, Deep Silver, Private Division, Sega (which has an unannounced triple-A game in the works), Square Enix, Sony, THQ Nordic, Ubisoft, the Xbox Team, and more will appear at the trade show:

Lastly, Gamescom 2019 will start on August 20th and end on August 24th. The Open Night Live will start one day early on August 19th.
