Deep Silver and 4A Games kicked up a lot of dust two weeks before Metro: Exodus was to hit Steam since the publisher and developer decided to switch to the Epic Games Store as an exclusive for one year. Well, the timed exclusive title (on PC) which is also available on PS4 and Xbox One will gain info at Gamescom 2019 regarding “The Two Colonels” DLC.
While Dmitry Glukhovsky is helping out on the next entry in the Metro series of games, as noted in a post on Facebook, it seems like more Metro will be coming forth this Gamescom.
According to a conversation between a Metro dev and a fan “The Two Colonels” is the first DLC for Metro: Exodus. You can read the exchanging of words that unveil what “The Two Colonels” is right here:

With that said, this DLC will make an appearance during Gamescom 2019. As expected, the full package of revealing and showing off footage of “The Two Colonels” will happen on August 19th at 5:00 P.M. EST / 4:00 P.M. BST / 9:00 A.M. PT:

After Deep Silver posted the above notice, Metro Exodus (the game’s official Twitter Account) went live to show off the same info, except with a different Pacific Time (PT) from the above post:

Moreover, “The Two Colonels” will premier on Inside Xbox on Mixer. To clarify this whole reveal, The Xbox Team will host a special Inside Xbox via Mixer during Gamescom 2019 on August 19th. If this sounds interesting to you, all of this will go down in the next two days.
Metro: Exodus is out now on PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version is currently an Epic Games Store timed exclusive and will become available on Steam sometime in 2020.
