The social justice movie or “game” best known as The Last of Us: Part 2 is gearing up to appear at this month’s State of Play on September 24th, 2019. That’s right, the title that has no release date as of this writing will head up the 20-minute long State of Play event in a few days.
If you don’t know, Sony will host the latest State of Play event across social media. This event 40-minutes shy of being an hour-long will supposedly reveal a “hefty amount of game” related stuff and will be absent of PlayStation 5 info.
In other words, we won’t get a glimpse at the PS5 and its policies, but we will see The Last of Us: Part 2 according to Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann’s Twitter account:

In what way will The Last of Us: Part 2 show up on the 24th? Well, that’s a mystery right now in that no one knows if the game will have a short trailer, a long “gameplay” walkthrough, or if a teaser trailer revealing a release date is the plan.
In addition to the above, if you want to catch all of this, the State of Play event will kick-off on September 24th at 1:00 P.M. Pacific Time / 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time.
Something you can expect from this PlayStation-based event is the typical Social Justice lingo and stuff found on Neil Druckmann’s Twitter account.
