New Guilty Gear Special Stage Show Set For September 12th

Known as New Guilty Gear or Guilty Gear 2020 —  whichever name you choose there’s no denying the forthcoming installment is in development. This means gamers and fans alike can get an extra look at the fighting game come September 12th.

If you have no idea what September 12th happens to play host to, I’ll say it deals with the Tokyo Game Show 2019. The upcoming Japanese games event is scheduled to show half an hour of the forthcoming Guilty Gear game.

According to website eventhubs.com, Arc System Works announced their Tokyo Game Show 2019 line up of games. One of the many games on the lineup is the new Guilty Gear title, which is set to appear on Sega’s stage later this week.

Taking the presentation front and center is the series creator or general director Daisuke Ishiwatari. The stage show is set to kick-off on September 13th from 11:45. P.M. to 12:15 P.M. JST or September 12th from 7:45 P.M. to 8:15 P.M. PDT.

Joining Ishiwatari is director Akira Katano, where the two are reported to inform fans on new info regarding the 2020 fighting game.

Furthermore, there is more info on the upcoming Guilty Gear according to arcsystemworks.jp. The website explains that next year’s title has a new Twitter account that will act as a source to feed fans the latest and greatest info.

Here’s a tweet from the newly posted account:

A rough translation of the above tweet sees the PR department thanking all of its 10,000 followers and that the upcoming TGS 2019 event will hold exclusive Guilty Gear info on Sega’s stage.
