The man that is often known as the Dorito Pope, Geoff Keighley, has spoken and reveals how many new titles will appear at The Game Awards 2019. The event will be live-streamed on December 12th, 2019, starting at 8:30 P.M. ET / 5:30 P.M. PT.
Although I’m not a big fan of these events, if you happen to be into them and wish to know more, you are in luck. According to a recent ask me anything (AMA) that involved Keighley, folks will be seeing around ten new game reveals this December.
If you want to check for any potential hints, you can head on over to r/IAmA to play detective. However, what we do know right now, as listed above, comes from the following answer that Keighley posted to Mangoverload’s query:
“We have a bunch of brand new games being announced at the show — I think there are around 10 new games/projects being revealed if you want to count the things that no one has heard about yet. As always the Internet has a lot of really bad information out there about what you think is at the show…but it sure is fun to read.”
As per Keighley, any leak that has popped up on The Game Awards 2019 lineup is essentially false. He claims that the full list of reveals and games are still under wraps and that the “Internet has a lot of really bad information out there.”
According to wolfeye-studios.com, French video game designer Raphaël Colantonio — the founder and president of Arkane Studios — has left from under Bethesda’s wing to start his own company, wherein the indie company Wolfeye Studios’ first title will appear at The Game Awards 2019.
Don’t expect the game by Wolfeye Studios to be “big,” given that the team’s mission is to bring gamers “simple indie games” that focus on “player experience.”
Lastly, Keighley says that Resident Evil 3 will not appear at The Game Awards 2019. With that said, we’ll find out what the ten games are when December 12th rolls around.
