id Software To Show Off More Of Doom: Eternal At Bethesda Game Days Event

Bethesda Game Days is an annual event that shows off upcoming Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studio games. Since id Software’s is under Bethesda Softworks, the forthcoming first-person shooter will appear at the event where game director Hugo Martin and executive producer Marty Stratton will appear to show off the game’s “Master Levels.”

Whether or not you’re a fan of the new id Software, Doom 2016, and the footage shown of Doom: Eternal, there’s no denying that Bethesda has a track record of major screw-ups.

If for some reason Bethesda’s blunders don’t rub you the wrong way, the company is hosting its Bethesda Game Days event that’s set to kick-off on February 28th and end on February 29th, 2020.

Hosting the event at Laugh Boston & M.J. O’Connor’s Irish Pub, Bethesda’s event will run from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on both days.

February 28th Show (Friday)

On February 28th, Fallout 76: Wastelanders Preview will go live at 2:00 P.M., where Bethesda Game Studio devs will discuss what fans can expect from the potential glitch fest:

“2:00 P.M. Fallout 76: Wastelanders Preview – Join Wastelanders developers Jeff Gardiner (Project Lead, Bethesda Game Studios), Ferret Baudoin (Lead Designer, Bethesda Game Studios), Mark Tucker (Design Director, Bethesda Game Studios), and Nathan Purkeypile (Lead Artist, Bethesda Game Studios), and as they talk about the changes coming to Appalachia as well as what goes into creating the stories and motivations of West Virginia’s newest residents.”

Doom Eternal: Battle Mode will arrive an hour later where devs from id Software will talk all things Battle Mode:

“3:30 P.M. DOOM Eternal: BATTLEMODE – Join Marty Stratton (Executive Producer, id Software) and Hugo Martin (Game Director, id Software) as they show off DOOM Eternal’s multiplayer BATTLEMODE and discuss the design story and strategies required to properly rip & tear.”

And if you want to see some cringe in action, you can watch Boston Celtics’ Marcus Smart, and Romeo Langford play the upcoming FPS game:

“5:00 P.M. DOOM Eternal with the Celtics – Boston Celtics stars Marcus Smart & Romeo Langford play DOOM Eternal and try not to get posterized by a Mancubus.”

February 29th Show (Saturday)

An Elder Scrolls Online competitive event will kick-off the February 29th show, as noted below:

2:00 P.M. ESO Game Show – Two teams lead by Rich Lambert (Creative Director, Elder Scrolls Online) and Mike Finnigan (Dungeon Lead, Elder Scrolls Online) compete in trivia and physical challenges for fabulous prizes! All linked viewers will receive an Ouroboros Crown Crate and a Clouded Senche-Leopard Cub pet through Twitch Drops.

I’m not sure who would want to listen to this, but those wanting to hear a live show by the cast of the CHAD: A Fallout 76 Story on stage can do so an hour and 30 minutes later:

“3:30 P.M. CHAD: A Fallout 76 Story Podcast LIVE – The cast of the CHAD: A Fallout 76 Story podcast perform a special episode live on stage for the first time ever with a brand-new Appalachian adventure.”

The last show will see the creators over Doom: Eternal talking about the challenge of the Master Levels as noted below:

“5:00 P.M. DOOM Eternal: Master Level Deep Dive – Marty Stratton (Executive Producer, id Software) and Hugo Martin (Game Director, id Software) show off DOOM Eternal’s exciting and wildly challenging Master Levels.”

In case you don’t want to actually visit the event, you can view all panels live via Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and Facebook Live.

Lastly, Doom: Eternal will have a demo at the event where folks can play the first 20 minutes of the game. As for Fallout 76: Wastelanders, you can experience the latest and greatest glitches ahead of its April 7th release.
