Even though E3 2020 will not happen this year, other publication sites will instead go up with their own 2020 games event to fill in the missing spot that is the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo. One of the many events happens to be GamesRadar’s Future Games Show, which will kick-off sometime this June.
Whether or not you like GamesRadar, know that the outlet will go through with its Future Games Show event in the next couple of months despite coronavirus concerns.
The show in question is a digital showcase of “the most exciting games of 2020 and beyond,” and will dabble into other sources of entertainment surrounding the games industry.
Additionally, the Future Games Show will run for one hour containing exclusive trailers, new announcements, and deep dives on existing indie and triple-A games:
See the most exciting console, mobile and streaming games of 2020 in one show with a mixture of exclusives, deep dives and developer interviews. Coming June 2020.
In addition to the above, there will be a focus on current and next-gen consoles, mobile games, and streaming platforms. We also learn that the Future Games Show will feature exclusive news, previews, and interviews from the editorial team at GamesRadar.
It is also said that the event will be promoted across Future’s network sites, which includes PC Gamer, TechRadar, T3, Tom’s Guide, and more. Folks can watch the Future Games Show across various social media outlets such as YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter.
Tagging along with the above information comes word from content director Daniel Dawkins:
“Future has been the home of gaming since 1985 with the launch of Amstrad Action magazine and its innovative cover-mounted cassettes. We’re delighted to bring together our brilliant editorial team across brands including GamesRadar, PC Gamer, Edge Magazine, Retro Gamer, Official PlayStation Magazine and Kotaku UK to work on the Future Games Show. With its focus on console, mobile and streaming games, we believe the Future Games Show is the perfect complement to the highly successful PC Gaming Show at E3, and The Golden Joystick Awards, the world’s largest public voted games awards, which take place in November.”
While it’s said that gamers can expect more details in the coming weeks on GamesRadar’s Future Games Show, in the meantime, you can check out the newly posted video trailer on said 2020 digital event:
