Google Stadia is going to launch another Connect event, and this time it will show off new games. At the moment, no details on these new games have surfaced just yet, but we’ll find out soon when April 28th rolls around.
Google is still trying to support the dying service that is Stadia. And as of recent, we learn that Google’s latest work will have another Connect event that will showcase new games, and likely other forms of “content” too.
All of this will take place next week (or in four days), which means folks interested in what will be shown on April 28th can mark their calendars as a date to save.
The above information on the anti-consumer service came in via a tweet, as seen below:
It’s time for another #StadiaConnect! Tune in this Tuesday 4/28 9AM PT / 6PM CET on YouTube to hear from the team and see a few new games coming to Stadia. pic.twitter.com/Fuao6QvHF3

If you can’t see the tweet in question, it relays that on April 28th at 9:00 A.M. PT / 6:00 P.M. CET you can catch the Connect event on YouTube to hear from the team and see “a few new games coming to Stadia.”
Back on January 16th, 2020, we reported on the team at Stadia wanting various video games on the market as “timed exclusives.”
According to a Google PR person, this move of securing multiple titles as timed exclusives will “help the service” in question. Website gamingbolt.com also reported on Stadia releasing a plethora of games throughout this year citing the PR person saying:
“Looking at our upcoming lineup, we are tracking more than 120 games coming to Stadia in 2020, and are targeting more than 10 games in the first half of this year alone that will be only available on Stadia when they launch. We’re working with our partners to share more on those games soon.”
With that said, it looks like a small portion of those 120 games will surface next week during the Connect event. Lastly, you can learn more about Stadia by heading on over to blog.google.
