Do you want to liberate bases and activate radio towers? If so, it looks like reports with info on Ubisoft working on Far Cry 6 are popping up, and actor Giancarlo Esposito seems to be connected to the game if these new reports hold any weight.
Firstly, you’ll likely know of Esposito due to his work in stuff like The Mandalorian (as Moff Gideon), The Maze Runner movies (as Jorge), and in The Boys (as Stan Edgar). However, his work isn’t restricted to TV series and movies given that he’s been in popular video game trailers like Payday 2 (as the Dentist) and in Destiny (as the Father in the Law of the Jungle).
With that said, website videogameschronicle.com, which has a decent track record when it comes to predicting rumors, reports that gamereactor.eu and collider.com are saying that “Far Cry 6” is in the works and is a “huge game.”Additionally, VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb has been accurately predicting what games would appear at the most recent summer game events and seems to be doing the same thing regarding Far Cry 6 featuring Esposito.
And seeing that Ubisoft will hold an upcoming digital event dubbed “Ubisoft Forward,” the game might appear in the next couple of weeks:
“Ubisoft Forward – A summer celebration of Ubisoft’s upcoming lineup of games and content, is right around the corner! The event will stream live on ubisoft.com.”
Website videogameschronicle.com also reports that Ubisoft will “launch one unannounced triple-A title” in its current fiscal year ending in March 2021.
With that said, we’ll find out soon if Ubisoft will announce a new Far Cry game at its Ubisoft Forward event, which will further detail games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion.
Lastly, the digital event in question promises to include exclusive game news and product reveals when July 12th, 2020, rolls around.
