THQ Nordic To Reveal New Secret Games At Gamescom 2019

THQ Nordic has quite a few mystery games under on the horizon and they are currently teasing the general public about the secret lineup. In a new trailer celebrating the list of games to come out for PC, PS4, and Xbox One at this year’s Gamescom, titles with a question mark appear, indicating that their reveal is coming soon.

I bet you already know that Gamescom 2019 will be at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany from August 20th to August 24th, right? Well, at that event many publishers and developers like THQ Nordic will be there to show off their games.

Such titles under THQ Nordic consist of Biomutant, Desperados 3, Darksiders (Default) Genesis, Destroy All Humans!, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, and a secret game as seen in the following bite-sized list of block-quotes:

Biomutant

“The post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu Fable RPG will be back at gamescom, and is ready to excite players and media alike – again!”

Desperados 3

“Nominated as best strategy game of E3 2019, Mimimi Games’ new masterpiece will finally be playable for the big audience.”

Darksiders (Default) Genesis

“War or Strife? Choose your Horsemen and slay demons in the new coop mode.”

Destroy All Humans!

“Take one giant step on mankind and help Crypto to infiltrate, exterminate, and dominate all of us!”

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated

“Oh yes, kids, he’s ready! Be among the first people in the world to play the long-awaited SpongeBob game.”

??????????

“A game that will be announced soon, players can already get their hands on it at gamescom!”

Now, I want to point something out because it seems like there are four secret games. Firstly, in the above description for the first mystery game it says that “players can already get their hands on it at Gamescom” but around the one minute and ten-second mark in the following video shows otherwise — stating “not playable at GC 2019.”

I take it that the first mystery title will be playable in “Hall 8” while the second game isn’t playable, but will be shown to the public unlike the other two unknown titles:

“Additionally, three new games will be shown behind closed doors only, one of them being a world exclusive announcement which will be revealed during the gamescom Opening Night live stream on Monday!”

Anyway, you can check out the trailer showing the above games courtesy of THQ Nordic‘s YouTube channel:
