PAX South 2019 is currently planned to make a public debut until the mid-part of January in 2019, bringing all sorts of new video game announcements and news. Featuring exhibitors ranging from AAA publishers and developers to indie devs, the event will have a focus on “blockbuster games” and “diversity.”
As of this writing, the crew behind the 2019 games event have released a tweet detailing where you can snag tickets and book a hotel (or place to stay), as seen below:

As for the actual event, it is set to hit San Antonio, Texas, and will take place from January 18th to January 20th.

As of right now, the official Schedule page does not reflect any plans just yet, which is expected. However, we do know some of the stuff planned for the early 2019 event.
In addition to the above, the first thing happens to be exhibitors hailing from the AAA space (spanning from publishers and developers), and the “innovative” indie teams looking to fill up the show floor of Pax South 2019:
“This hall is packed with exhibitors ranging from AAA publishers and developers behind the latest blockbuster games, to the innovative indie teams disrupting the industry.”
The next thing happens to be a focus on “diversity,” as explained below:
“The gaming community is a wonderfully diverse place and the Diversity Lounge is meant as a celebration of that. Whether you count yourself among the under-represented, or just want to learn a little more about your friends, the Diversity Lounge is well worth a visit.”
