Devil May Cry 5 Will Release For PC, PS4 And Xbox One On March 8th, 2019

Gamescom 2018 is here, and the event brings with it gameplay footage of many games to come. One of the many playable games present at the European games event happens to be that of Devil May Cry 5, which is set to release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on March 8th, 2019.

The story for the upcoming game revolves around Nero and Dante having to face-off against “their strongest foe yet.” The story will presumably focus on something “mysterious” regarding the demon world, with Nero going off to recover something special he lost.

The full story will be explained and playable early next year across PC and home consoles, but in the meantime, you can see the official Gamescom 2018 trailer right here:

If the trailer isn’t enough for you, YouTuber Arekkz Gaming has 15 minutes of in-game footage for you to look over. The gameplay video follows Nero through the streets fighting various demons until he meets up with a giant boss named Goliath.

If you don’t know, during E3 2018 the director of Devil May Cry 5, Hideaki Itsuno, expressed his confidence in the works put into the game saying that he’s “confident” it will “exceed expectations.”

Now that actual gameplay is up, you can be the judge if Devil May Cry 5 looks like it will exceed expectations or not. As for attendees, a hands-on build is up at Gamescom and allows for curious gamers to play through a segment of the forthcoming title — as seen above.

Seeing that Devil May Cry 5 is a year out from releasing to the public, I’m sure Capcom and crew will have various trailers to supplement potential buyers before the game’s March 8th debut.

With all of that said, you can look for Devil May Cry 5 to hit the games market early next year on PC and home consoles.
