Epic Games And Bad Robot Games Release Spyjinx iOS Beta In Malaysia

What happens when you take Epic Games, Tencent, and J.J. Abrams and his new company (Bad Robot Games) and force them to work together? Well, you get a woke mobile game that takes five years to reach beta named Spyjinx. Oh, and it’s worth mentioning that this beta is only available for people in Malaysia using specific Apple devices.

Although the above description sounds like a nightmare, it’s sadly a reality. Moreover, this new mobile game is currently available to pick up right now… except only for those in Malaysia using the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S+, iPad Pro 1st gen, iPad Air 2, and the iPad Mini 4 or anything newer.

Nevertheless, you cannot play the game if you are using an iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad Mini 2, iPad 3, iPod Touch 6th gen or anything older.

As for the game itself, players are tasked with building bases in exotic locations around the world and then customizing their secret lairs.

Players must defend against other Masterminds by acquiring new locations and then filling them with “luxurious items” or “deadly traps” as a bait-and-switch tool to stifle any intruders. The objective is to be the last man standing with a display of “priceless artifacts” collected from other Masterminds.

All of the above can be achieved by training specialized agents with unique abilities and cutting-edge gadgets by sending them on missions to infiltrate other Masterminds’ bases.

Sadly, Epic Games, Tencent, and Bad Robot Games did not release an official trailer for Spyjinx. So instead, a random YouTuber by the name of Zack1948 had to put together a video showing off what’s in store:

“Epic Games and Bad Robot Games present: Spyjinx. Set in a secret world of espionage, thrilling heists, and cutting-edge gadgets, Spyjinx is a unique mix of action-strategy gameplay, RPG character development, and head-to-head multiplayer.”

The game is also planned to launch on Android devices too, but until then, you can learn more about Spyjinx by paying epicgames.com or apple.com a visit.
