Blizzard is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic development companies in the history of videogames, since most of its franchises have left an indelible mark on the industry, and some of them have even managed to shape entire videogame genres, as is the case of World of Warcraft, which is considered the most important MMORPG in history, or the Diablo series, a game that practically established a sub-genre of ARPGs.
As it happens with other companies, Blizzard holds an annual event where they announce the most important future projects to be carried out by this company, whether they are new content, new video games for their already established franchises, or even a new Intellectual property. This event called BlizzCon is one of the most awaited by the players who enjoy the games created by this company since the announcements usually generate a lot of expectations. However, due to the pandemic the world is currently in, BlizzCon 2021 had to become an online event and was renamed BlizzConline 2021.

That said, here are the top six announcements from BlizzConline 2021, which was held just a few days ago.
WoW Classic: Burning Crusade
One moment at BlizzConline that stood out among veteran players was the announcement that Burning Crusade was coming to the World of Warcraft Classic.
Burning Crusade was the first expansion that WoW had in its history and it is also one of the most valued by players who were active in the early years of this great MMORPG since this expansion (which was released in 2007) introduced a lot of new features that changed and totally improved the experience offered by WoW at that time (for example, the implementation of hordes, flying mounts and the Paladin class).
The highly anticipated WoW Classic: Burning Crusade will be hosted on different servers than WoW Classic, so players will be completely free to choose whether they wish to move their level 60 characters to the new Burning Crusade servers, or prefer to stay on the current version of WoW Classic. Either way, both versions can be enjoyed with the same World of Warcraft subscription.
Holly Logande (the person in charge of making this great announcement) has also mentioned that thanks to the time of life that WoW Classic has had, Blizzard has learned to give players a better experience, so this time the developers are willing to make changes in the new Burning Crusade in order to improve the balance of the videogame. This was something that they did not want to do in the current WoW Classic since it will always focus on offering an experience more in line with the original one.
That said, it is advisable to get large amounts of gold to be able to acquire the equipment and items necessary to overcome the challenges presented by the new Burning Crusade. However, getting enough gold can be relatively complicated in this version of WoW, especially for those players who do not have much free time to invest in the game. For that reason, one of the most effective and quickest methods to get the mentioned currency is to simply buy gold through a marketplace that always lets you find the cheapest World of Warcraft Classic gold prices like Eldorado.gg, which offers very good prices and great security in purchases.
First major update for WoW: Shadowlands
World of Warcraft is Blizzard’s most successful MMORPG, so obviously, it had an important announcement on BlizzConline, which was this time the arrival of “Chains of Domination”, the first major update for Shadowlands.
This new update (corresponding to patch 9.1 of WoW: Shadowlands) will focus on continuing to expand the world presented in the current expansion, so it will add new regions to explore, will offer a new raid, will bring a new challenging dungeon where players will have to face eight different bosses, among other new features.
Chains of Domination update still do not have a release date, but it has been confirmed that it will arrive this year.
Big news for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft
The popular card game based on the popular Warcraft franchise will also receive a lot of new content, as a new expansion called “Forged in the Barrens” was announced, which will set the game in Kalimdor, the home of the Horde.
Another important novelty that HearthStone will have is its new competitive mode: Hearthstone Mercenaries, where players will be able to level up different characters from the WoW universe and then challenge other players in this mode.
Another important announcement of this game was the arrival of the much-requested Classic Format, which will allow players to recover the gameplay that HearthStone had in its early years.
Diablo II: Ressurrected
One of the news that excited the most veteran players of the Diablo franchise was undoubtedly the return of its emblematic second game, which two decades ago revolutionized the ARPG genre for PC.
Diablo II: Resurrected will be a Remaster that will change the 2D graphics of the original Diablo II for renewed 3D graphics, which stand out for being very detailed and faithful to the original artistic style (very similar to what the StarCraft Remaster did). However, for those players who wish to remember the experience of the original Diablo II, this Remaster will allow them to play with the original 2D graphics. In addition, this return of Diablo II will incorporate new cinematics that adds up to a total of approximately 27 minutes.
Diablo II: Resurrected will be available with cheap keys for both PC and consoles.
Blizzard Colección Arcade
In 2021 Blizzard Entertainment celebrates its 30th anniversary, and to commemorate it in a nostalgic way it has decided to release Blizzard Arcade Collection, a compilation with the first three videogames developed by this emblematic company: Rock & Roll Racing, The Lost Vikings, and Blackthorne. These three games return in their original version, but with some small new features, such as being able to place filters to improve the image resolution, the Save Assist, among others.
Blizzard Arcade Collection is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Diablo IV: The New Rogue Class
The long-awaited Diablo IV still does not have a confirmed release date, even though it has been almost a year and a half since its announcement. However, Blizzard continues to announce more news about the game and the most recent has been the introduction of a new class called Rogue.
This type of character was already present in the first Diablo, where they were characterized for being a class focused on long-range attacks due to the fact that they mainly use bows and also have great Dexterity.
Along with the announcement, eye-catching gameplay was also shown where the Rogue class could be seen in action. So far, Diablo IV already has four confirmed classes: Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid and the aforementioned Rogue.
