Finding a good and cheap prebuilt gaming PC is a daunting task if you don’t know what to look for. Hence, come to this discussion we will make today about pre-built PC. Trust me, after doing hours and hours of research I am in god-mode for sharing this information with you.
PC or Personal Computer is one of the all-rounder pieces of mech that people wish to own. Even for gaming, PC is the type of platform that people will prefer (pointing out to all the PC-Master Race!) having PC instead of… a regular console like PlayStation or Xbox. As for me personally, I would prefer having a PC because it can do everything – making videos, editing photos, listening to music, writing or playing games. Or you can do everything at once! If your PC is strong enough to handle it of course.
The PC evolves into the almighty gaming PC that people admire. Making a PC that can hold almost the heaviest game is like a dream for all games! But you know, building that type of masterpiece will take your fund from the peak top to the bottom of the abyss. Meaning? It will empty your pocket in just a snap of a finger. Believe me.
Thankfully, lots of companies that make a pre-built PC that you can buy. Even more, some of them are actually cheaper and can run the game very well, although you cannot reach a peak performance of certain games. But I think it is worth right? Especially for gamers who wish to own a gaming PC but have a limited budget.
Just a bit disclaimer though, all of this list is based on my personal opinion and might be different from people. If you have a better option, I am open to any suggestions! So don’t hesitate to write it in the comment box below *wink*.

So, here we are! Compiling the list of 7 cheap prebuilt gaming PC that you can buy and play.
Skytech Chronos Gaming PC Desktop – One of the Best Cheap Prebuilt Gaming PC
Starting up with the first in our list is one of the best value-to-money prebuilt gaming PC made by Skytech. It’s called the Chronos. There are variations of Chronos that Skytech had, but the one that I looked at is the cheapest among all. But don’t judge it by the price though, because this little guy has a spec of a beast.
Peeking up the inside, the Chronos has AMD Ryzen 5300 as the heart, 6-core 3.6 GHz that can boost up to 4.2GHz.
Completed with 16GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 12GB. To make sure the speed is constant, Chronos had 1TB NVME SSD as the brain and runs with 650 Watt 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU. To comply with the heat that is produced, Chronos packed itself with four RGB 120mm fans – three at the front and one at the back… extra one fan to cool down the CPU.
Considering the price range, the Skytech Chronos can be one of the options if you are looking for a PC tower with a budget of around US$ 1500-ish. I mean, with the specs like that you can basically do anything – from gaming, streaming, or even doing heavy work like video editing or music producing. It might not fall under the $1000 cheap prebuilt gaming PC but this price range with that performance is just as good as you can get.
Lenovo Legion Tower 5 – Affordable Budget Gaming PC Prebuilt
When we talk about the Lenovo Legion series, we will be reminded of their powerful gaming laptop that has gained lots of positive critiques among the experts. To expand their wing, Lenovo now created what is called the Legion Tower 5, a non-portable PC for you who like to stay at home and stream instead of going into the café to sip a coffee and play online games with your friends… like me.
So back to the topic. There are two versions of Lenovo Legion Tower 5 that you can find on their official website, but we will discuss the more budget-friendly option. Packed with AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor with 8 cores that can be boosted up to 4.6GHz, 16GB of RAM, and the combination of 1TB SATA HDD + 512 NVME SSD for the storage. VGA wise, it used Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super, with a 400W power supply to accommodate the electricity needs.
Spec-wise, Lenovo Legion Tower 5 is a better machine for all-purpose activities. From the office working, creative designing, video editing, or even music making… all of that can be handled thanks to the Ryzen 7 processor and the RAM as well. But for gaming, seems like you need to watch out for the in-game graphic setting. You might be able to set a high setting for some games, but the high-end AAA game… will have a bit of struggle to reach 60FPS. Regardless, it’s definitely a good deal in the price range.
Alienware Aurora R12 – It is from Alienware and It is Cheap Gaming PC
Perhaps you might think, how can an Alienware be here in the best budget gaming pc prebuilt compilation? Well, turns out there are variants that are cheaper than the rest of their machine creation. It’s called the Alienware Aurora R12, an entry-level gaming pc under US$ 1,200. It’s a cool gaming PC with a cool case that looks like a machine from another planet. Inside, the Aurora R12 used Intel Core-1140F as the heart, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super with 4GB and 8GB of RAM. Memory, it used nothing but the 256GB of NVME SSD.
The Alienware Aurora R12 sure can run a game smoothly, the processor is brand-new and is more powerful than the predecessor… especially with Intel Core i7-9700K. The case is cool, simple, and will make you stand out more with the Alienware logo at the front. Although the spec that is offered is quite a bottleneck and it’s barely being able to run the high-end game, the price makes Aurora R12 is a good PC game.
AVGPC Q-Box 3 – One of the Best Budget Prebuilt Gaming PC
Another reference of a cheap pre-built gaming PC is the AVGPC Q-box 3. A something simpler with a rectangular design that has no dramatic corner like the one above, and packed with a good specification that will make your wallet calmer temporarily. Inside this simple rectangular PC case is the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 as the heart, 500GB SSD as the memory, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, and 550W PSU as electricity supply.
If I can say, the case is what catches my eye and I fell in love with the case design. The spec might not impress high-end gamers out there because it’s quite low compared to the first in our list. But when you hear the price, it’s under US$ 800 so it’s basically a worth version that you can buy if you have a limited budget. Plus, you will get a mouse and keyboard for free so, what are you waiting for? But always check the spec with your needs before buying.
Honorable mentions:
After we know the best cheap prebuilt gaming PC, then let’s mention something that is worth buying if you have an unlimited budget in your pocket. Here we are:
MSI Aegis RS – The beast which is actually not that cheap of Prebuilt PC
MSI Aegis RS is one of the best Gaming PC that you can buy. With the acrylic case that showcases its inner parts. But let’s not focus on that, we can’t let ourselves judge the cover without seeing the content, right? Because this beast is packed with whole lotta parts that will challenge every game that is ever created.
Heart, using Intel Core i7-12700K, graphic card Geforce RTX 3080, Dual Channel RAM 32GB, 1TB SSD+2TB HDD, and a liquid-cooling that will cool your processor faster than a fan. Considering the specs, everything and anything can be done. Playing triple AAA games with Maximum setting, done. Waiting for a startup, no more. Limited storage? Nope, but the price is quite high though. The price for this beast is around US$ 3,000-ish PC Only but you got everything that you want for a gaming PC.
Alienware Aurora R13 – From Alienware again and Reasonable Price Gaming PC
Alienware always makes a good impression with the machine that they made, the Alienware Aurora R13 is one of them. Covered with an out-of-the-box case and hid the content which is also out of this world. Yap, I mean the Intel Core i9-12900KF, the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 10GB, 64 GB of RAM, and 1TB NVME SSD.
All of these specs can be used with multiple monitors and you can basically use it to do anything you want because the specs can basically handle everything. Price-wise, it is around US$ 3,500-ish PC Tower Only. If your budget is slightly lower, Alienware Aurora R13 can be customized based on your needs but why wait if you can buy the maximum version of it?
Final Verdict
Choosing the right and on-budget prebuilt gaming PC might be quite tricky because each of the parts might be different but sometimes outperform the others. But more importantly, the budget that players have also determined the specs that you will use in playing the games.
Some people will feel enough to have an entry-level gaming PC and others might think to buy the cheap one in order to upgrade it, especially if you choose the one with AMD parts in it like the motherboard or the processor. What I mean to say is, always save and spend your budget wisely because a gaming PC will become your partner in everyday activities. Trust me, you wouldn’t gonna use it just for playing games.
